# White Ring Box | Vintage Whitewashed Wood with Pink Velvet

This is a white ring box in whitewashed wood, with soft pink velvet inside, on the base and under the lid. The little curled feet and the clasp are metal painted white, which gives it a vintage, dressing-table look. It's a white wedding ring box for couples who find black and brown boxes too heavy for their day.

The whitewash is thin, you can still see the grain running across the lid. It isn't a flat paint white. Most of our photos show gold rings, and they look good on the pink. We've also tried black ones with a green stone, and that works just as well.

The ornate metal feet lift the box off the table, the way an old jewelry box sits on a dresser. The clasp and hinges are metal painted white. The clasp is just for looks: it doesn't lock, so the lid opens easily, with nothing to undo.

## One, two or three rings, plus your engraving

The velvet pad is flat, with no slots, so nothing has to fit a particular size. One ring, two wedding bands, or an engagement ring with two bands all lie side by side without any trouble.

Engraving is available on the lid: your names, a date or a short line. Write what you'd like in the order notes and we'll take it from there.

## Ceremony first, keepsake after

We made it with a lighter wedding in mind: a garden, a summer barn, anything vintage or shabby chic, blush and ivory flowers. When the day is over it doesn't have to go in a drawer. ### Can it hold three rings?

Yes. It's a flat pad with no slots, so two bands and an engagement ring just lie there next to each other.

### Can you engrave names and a date?

Yes, names, a date or a few words. Write it in the order notes. If the order matters (his name first, hers first), say so.

### Is it really pink inside?

Yes, soft pink velvet on the base and under the lid, the same shade. It shows up a bit different on every screen, so go by the photos.
