Handmade wedding ring boxes
Our ring boxes are made from real wood and finished by hand. They hold wedding rings securely through the ceremony, proposal, elopement, or photoshoot.
We make wooden wedding ring boxes, personalized ring bearer boxes, rustic moss ring boxes, custom engraved wooden ring boxes, gothic ring boxes, Viking-inspired ring boxes, and alternative wedding ring boxes.
Each box can be personalized with names, initials, a wedding date, coordinates, symbols, or a short phrase. The engraving goes directly into the wood, so it stays.
Why We Started Making Wedding Ring Boxes
Ashkin Studio is based in Chernivtsi, a small European city in the historic region of Northern Bukovina. Eugen spent years as a wedding photographer before starting Ashkin Studio in 2018. After hundreds of ceremonies, he noticed the same thing — couples would pick the same standard, forgettable ring box, and it always showed in the photos. He wanted to make something different. A ring box that wasn't just there for the moment the rings were exchanged — but something a couple would keep, take home, and still recognize ten years later as part of their wedding day. Real wood, honest finishes, designs that felt like they belonged to the couple. His wife Natalia teaches English by day and knits every bridal cape and wrap by hand. Rustic and moss wedding ring boxes from Ashkin Studio are made for barn weddings, forest ceremonies, outdoor elopements, boho celebrations, and nature-inspired proposals. These boxes combine solid wood with preserved Icelandic moss, velvet interiors, warm or dark wood finishes, and optional custom engraving.
