Description
Proposal ring box in hexagonal beech wood with Icelandic moss inside. The shape is different from every other ring box — six sides instead of four. It sits in the hand differently, opens differently, photographs differently.
Why this box works for proposals
The hexagon shape does something a square can't
Six sides, smooth edges, fits naturally in the palm. When you pull it out, it doesn't look like a standard ring box — which is exactly the point.
Moss interior that holds the ring
Real preserved Icelandic moss cushions the ring from below. Green moss against dark wood against a single ring — it photographs well and feels considered.
Beech wood with oil stain finish
The oil stain brings out the natural grain without covering it. Every box runs slightly different — same wood species, different pattern.
When couples use it
Outdoor and nature proposals
Forest, mountain, garden, beach — the wood and moss belong in natural settings. The box fits the backdrop without any extra styling.
The proposal moment itself
Fits in a jacket pocket. The hexagon shape registers differently than a standard box — it's noticeable before it's even open.
As a keepsake after the engagement
The moss stays green without any maintenance. Most couples keep it out — it holds the engagement ring and doesn't need to be put away.
Common questions
Can I customize it?
Yes — names, initials, a date, a short message. Add details in the order notes at checkout.
Does the moss need maintenance?
No. The moss is preserved — no watering, no sunlight required. It stays green.
How is this different from the wedding ring boxes?
This one is built for the proposal moment — smaller, hexagonal, designed for a single ring. The wedding ring boxes are larger and hold two bands for the ceremony.

Beautiful design! Loved the box and the customer service was quick and friendly!
Would definitely recommend this product and seller to anyone looking for a ring box!
I was a worried my custom design would be too intricate to engrave on this small box. The seller responded quickly to my query and on arrival the engraving just as I wanted it to be. Beautiful product 👌
This box is beautifully made and absolutely gorgeous! I can’t wait to use it for my wedding!
Perfect custom engraving, adorable boxes.
Absolutely beautiful box! They were really helpful in making it customized for our wedding and the result was stunning! Very great communication and well made!! The one slightly not good thing was that the latch ended up coming a little loose at one point, but for the most part it was perfect!
The ring box is beautiful and well crafted. Although be careful about the size of the interior of the box. I ordered mine with the felt insert, but my ring stands taller than the box allows.
Very nice ring box! Will work great for when I give my partner his ring(s) in the near future >:] as other reviewers have said, the clasp is flimsy and definitely for the aesthetic. Still a beautiful ring box!

Excellent Seller! Would buy from again!
item came protected in lots of packaging and looked beautiful
The box is absolutely beautiful! The wood is a little light, but that does not bother me at all. The only thing of real note is that the hinge is a little loose. But it is a beautiful box and I would highly recommend it!

Beautiful item and will be perfect for the proposal!
Beautiful on every level.. a gift for my daughter’s 30th birthday and she absolutely loves it! Thankyou ~ from the beginning of this order to receiving just great service..
This was everything I wanted it to be.
Order came exactly out exactly as I wanted it and shipping was fast! Latch on box is a bit delicate, however given the small nature of the latch, it is understandable. Very well crafted item, will be perfect for storage of the ring when my fiancé isn't wearing it.

The seller is very accommodating!
Love the item! Fast delivery
The box was amazing and the moss inside added to the presentation of the ring I used that has a center stone of moss agate.
It’s a nice box, definitely quality work. I just wish the inscription was a bit more clearly visible, you basically can’t see it because the wood is so dark unfortunately. Would’ve been good to see the final product before shipping to discuss that
Wonderful, products exactly as discussed
Girlfriend very much loved the stabilized moss and the over all look of the box, its great at keeping her rings safe and on theme for her LARP events
This was exactly what I wanted, and the seller was very responsive and accommodating!
